The Providence Performing Arts Center is dedicated to making everyone’s visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The Arcade, Grand Lobby, Orchestra Level, Mezzanine, and First and Second Balconies are fully accessible from Weybosset Street. First floor restrooms and water fountain are fully accessible; restrooms off of the walkway behind the First Dress Circle are also fully accessible.

If you need assistance at the Theatre, please go to the House Manager's Desk located in the Lobby, or ask one of our friendly ushers! 

PPAC has curb side drop-off located directly in front of the theatre.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assisted listening devices are available on a first come, first served basis in the Grand Lobby across from the Aisle 5 entrance.  A driver’s license or valid ID will be requested as a deposit.

Additional Hearing / Visually Impaired Services

ASL interpretation, open caption and/or visual description is available upon request for performances at PPAC. Please email box_office_questions@ppacri.org or call 401.421.2787 to arrange in advance.  

 

Purchasing Tickets (ADA accessible seating)

Accessible and companion seating may be purchased online at ppacri.org and by calling the Box Office at 401.421.ARTS (2787). 

Handicap Parking

Handicap parking is available in the SP Plus Parking Garage, located directly across the street from the Theatre at 233 Weybosset Street. If you have any questions, you can contact them at (401) 521-2355. Please review our PPAC parking guide for other parking recommendations. 

Elevator

The elevator is located on the first floor across from the Grand Lobby and adjacent to the Lobby Lounge, and provides access to the Mezzanine, and First and Second Balconies.

GalaPro

We are pleased to partner with the mobile app GalaPro, which offers closed captioning, audio description, amplification, and more on patron's mobile device. You can download the GalaPro app for free in the App Store or in Google Play. 


 

Sensory-Friendly Performances

Sensory-friendly performances are available for  selected shows during our upcoming Season. Please inquire at the PPAC Box Office at 401.421.2787 or visit our Sensory-Friendly page to learn more! These performances are presented in collaboration with The Autism Project .

Restrooms

Fully accessible restrooms are located on the first floor closer to the Richmond Street entrance and off the walkway behind First Dress Circle.  

Children's Policy

Children under the age of six are not permitted to attend PPAC performances unless they are designated as a family show. Please call the Box Office at (401) 421-ARTS (2787) to see which shows are appropriate for younger children. All persons regardless of age are required to have a ticket for family shows.
