Donors and supporters are the stars of the show.

Relying heavily on donor support, each year PPAC makes the beauty, history and inspiration of our theatre accessible to tens of thousands of under-served people. Your tax-deductible donation today will assure that together, we continue Bringing Theatre to Life for thousands more. Click to learn more about supporting our non-profit.

Receiving to Give: Community Outreach

Supported by the Annual Fund Campaign

Every dollar donated to PPAC’s Annual Fund is used to support the Theatre’s Community Outreach Initiative, which gives young audiences and emerging artists the chance to experience the wonder of live theater at no or low-cost through such programs as ARTS Scholarships, The Bank of America ARTS Showcase, Big Dreams Begin With Broadway (seats for Big Brothers Big Sister of the Ocean State), From Books To Broadway, Seats for Service Members and Wonders of the Wurlitzer.

Though our non-profit organization seeks sponsors and donors, we are committed to giving back to our community. Thanks to your generous support, we are able to do so. As a donor, you play a starring role in the development and continued success of our arts institution.

Theatre Preservation & Restoration

Supported by the PPAC Annual Gala

The Providence Performing Arts Center occupies the historic Loew's Theatre Building, originally opened in 1928 as Loew's Movie Palace. For nearly a century, the building has not only survived, but ultimately flourished, thanks to the support of our Annual Gala guests.

Providence Performing Arts Center is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) cultural institution. As listed in section 170(f)(8) of the Internal Revenue Code, the IRS considers charitable contributions as the difference between your gift and the “fair market value” of any goods or services received in exchange. The gift amount minus the value of benefits received by the donor may be considered tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. All donations are acknowledged with a written notice, specifying the appropriate value. Valued benefits can be waived by the donor, allowing the full donation to be considered a charitable gift.
