ARTS Scholarships Logo Competition
How does art make you feel?
Let us know by designing a new ARTS Scholarships logo to be displayed on the PPAC website and more! The creator of the winning design will receive a $600 cash reward to use at their discretion, and their creation will be used in 2026 and beyond.
Next year marks the 30th anniversary of PPAC’s ARTS Scholarships program, which has opened the door to the arts for hundreds of Rhode Island’s middle-school-aged youth, providing access for students who demonstrate need. Scholarship recipients are awarded up to $600 to enroll in summer arts-related education programs of their choosing. Providing this opportunity for so many students as their interests are rapidly evolving, allows for further cultivation of creative thinking and encouragement of artistic endeavors.
ARTS Scholarships are made possible by the generous support of The Textron Charitable Trust and PPAC’s Annual Fund donors with support from WPRI-TV. PPAC is truly proud to be able to provide students with this opportunity.
Contest Rules & Requirements
Submission Requirements
- Open to students in 6th - 12th grade or the homeschool equivalent as of Fall 2025.
- Must be a current Rhode Island resident.
- Submission Deadline is 3P on Friday, October 17.

Logo Requirements
- Must be original work and in full color (no use of AI or generative software.)
- Include the name “ARTS Scholarships”.
- Include PPAC Logo (See below for reference.)
- Include a space for sponsor logos to be placed.
- Include a 30th Anniversary graphic that can be added to your stand-alone logo.*
- Use letter size (8.5 x 11 in.) paper.
- Logo itself must be at least 4 x 6 in.
- Must be representative of the arts (music, dance, theatre, 2D and 3D visual arts, digital art, writing, textiles, film/photography, and more!)
- Use any art medium.
*This is an additional graphic that can be added to your logo for the 30th anniversary year (2026) and then can be removed to use your stand-alone logo (without the 30th anniversary graphic) beyond 2026.

Additional Contest Notes
- Please retain all original artwork files until the contest has closed and a winner has been selected.
- If your design is selected, PPAC will receive the rights to your artwork to use as they see fit for the ARTS Scholarships Program.
