Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The Vets) holds a unique place in the cultural life of Rhode Island as a performance venue for legendary artists, local performers and community traditions. The theater celebrates flawless acoustics, a breathtaking proscenium stage and exquisite interior with a one-of-a-kind ceiling featuring the shields of Rhode Island’s original 39 communities.

The Vets is also home to the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, Festival Ballet Providence, the Providence Singers and the Rhode Island International Film Festival. Over the years scores of legendary performers have illuminated The Vets grand stage, including such classical and contemporary greats as Renee Fleming, Bryan Adams, Chris Cornell, and Paul Anka.
