The Providence Performing Arts Center Partners with WPRI CBS 12 and Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses to Support Toys for Tots

 

Providence, RI – The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), in partnership with WPRI CBS 12 and Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses, is helping to make the holidays brighter for Rhode Island children. Starting this Saturday, November 29, PPAC will be a collection site for Toys for Tots; a collection box will be in the Theatre’s Arcade near the Box Office window. 
 

Patrons may bring a new, unwrapped toy to PPAC during the following performances:

 

• THE MUSIC OF PINK FLOYD WITH THE RHODE ISLAND PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA
  Saturday, November 29 at 7P
   
• WATER FOR ELEPHANTS
  Tuesday, December 2 through Sunday, December 7
   
• The PPAC and The VETS’ Holiday Sale
  Saturday, December 6 from 10A to 8P
   
• EARTH, WIND & FIRE
  Tuesday, December 9 at 7:30P
   
• THE SNOW MUST GO ON! A FREE Wonders of the Wurlitzer Community Event
  Wednesday, December 10 at noon (12P)
   
• BOSTON POPS HOLIDAY CONCERTS with Conductor Keith Lockhart
  Saturday, December 13 at 3P and 8P
   
• CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE
  December 19 – 21

 

In 2024, the Rhode Island chapter of Toys for Tots delivered 195,115 toys to 29,120 children. This year, every new, unwrapped donation – whether it is a board game, stuffed animal, craft kit or book - will bring joy to a child, up to age 18, in need this season.
