Providence, RI – In partnership with WPRI CBS 12, the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) will host a community blood drive to support the Rhode Island Blood Center on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 10A to 3P. PPAC is located at 220 Weybosset Street, Providence, RI 02903. The drive will be held in PPAC’s Marquee Room on the third floor.
Blood donors will receive a $10 gift card from PieZoni’s and a bag of Marylou’s Coffee, while supplies last. Complimentary parking will be available on Page Street.
Blood donations typically decline during the winter months, yet the need remains high to meet hospital demand. Each donation can save up to three lives and is ready for patient use within one to two days.
“We are happy to support the RI Blood Center during this critical time of year,” said Alan J. Chille, President and CEO of the Providence Performing Arts Center. “We encourage people to schedule an appointment ahead of February 11th at ribc.org/arts.”
“We greatly appreciate PPAC and WPRI 12 for their continuous support,” said Glenn Halvarson, Account Manager at the Rhode Island Blood Center. “Community blood drives like the one being held at PPAC are vital and help save lives. Please join us on February 11th either by scheduling ahead at ribc.org/arts; we accept walk-in appointments, on a case by case basis, the day of the drive.”
