Each year, hundreds of people turn out for PPAC’s Gala fundraiser, which always promises to be an elegant evening of entertainment followed by an exclusive reception hosted by Rhode Island’s top restaurants. Proceeds from PPAC’s Annual Gala enable the Theatre to make enormous strides in completing renovation projects and capital improvements, ensuring that this historic building remains a treasured landmark in the community, while increasing the safety and comfort of our patrons.
Through the generous support of annual gala sponsors and patrons, several of PPAC’s major renovation projects have been completed, including a new sound system, additional ladies’ restrooms, and new exterior bronze front doors. This year’s proceeds will be directed towards the exterior restoration of Weybosset Street including granite sidewalks, new lighting and the installation of a designated patron drop-off lane, which will make the Theatre all the more accessible to our patrons and all the more beautiful.
