SEATS FOR SERVICE MEMBERS

In the spring of 2008, PPAC initiated a pilot Seats for Service Members program to provide preferred orchestra seats to members of Rhode Island’s National Guard and their families for all of our Broadway, Family, and Contemporary Classics performances. The program was met with such resounding success that we were able to raise enough money to continue it again for the third season in a row! We only hope that the Seats for Service Members program will let the thousands of men and women, who unselfishly dedicate themselves to protecting our country, know how much we greatly appreciate their outstanding sacrifices and courageous efforts.

Already, PPAC has provided over 1,000 tickets to the National Guard! This was made possible thanks to the support of our dedicated sponsors who are committed to upholding our community outreach endeavors. The feedback from military families expressing gratitude for such a wonderful opportunity is testament that the program truly has a lasting impact.

The program was met with such resounding success that we are appealing to the local community again to continue the program next season. 100% of contributions earmarked for the Seats for Service Members program will be applied toward purchasing tickets for service members and their families.

Presently, over 5,000 Rhode Island residents unselfishly dedicate themselves to protecting our country; we hope this program will let them know how much PPAC, as well as the entire community, greatly appreciate their outstanding sacrifices and courageous efforts.
